Emphasis is on practical applications and competence testing.

City & Guilds 3667-02 Unit 101 Basic Principles
This unit is concerned with safe working practices and the basic principles of communications systems.  It is a mandatory unit to achieve the full C&G 3667-02 Level 2 Award in Communications Cabling.

City & Guilds 3667-02 Unit 102 Fibre Optic Cabling for an Internal Environment
This course teaches students to install, terminate and test fibre-optic cable within data communications systems. With the integration of fibre optical technology into LANs, CCTV and traffic systems, this comprehensive course provides you with the knowledge and skills to seek employment in a wide range of disciplines.

City & Guilds 3667-02 Unit 103 Fibre Optic Cabling for an External Environment
Delivered to the internationally recognised C&G 3667-02 syllabus, the Fibre Optic Cabling in an External Environment course provides trainees with all they need to know to get a job in this expanding industry. The course covers the installing, jointing and testing of fibre optic cable for long haul Digital CATV and telecom provision.

City & Guilds 3667-02 Unit 104 Copper Cabling for an Internal Environment
With the phenomenal growth of Digital Data Communications and the Internet, there is a real requirement for trained technicians who can install and test data networks for a wide range of applications. Utilising our LIVE Ethernet and LAN/WAN simulators, we bring the reality of the working environment into the classroom.This course gives you all the skills you need to install and test copper based communications cables.

City & Guilds 6156 New Road and Street Works Act - Signing, Lighting & Guarding
This is a mandatory legal requirement for personnel employed by most telecomms companies.
