CTTS Resettlement client helps Build new BT Network
Former QRH Soldier Karl Mellett, working in a Fibre Optic main chamber, joints optical fibres exactly as he did on the course according to Karl. On leaving the Forces, Karl undertook his resettlement training with CTTS at their National Training Centre in Lincoln. Once qualified in fibre optics, Karl applied for positions at BT Openreach and is now employed in South Yorkshire as a BT Fibre Optic Engineer. BT is rolling out its new 21st Century Network across the UK for some years to come. This will see more and more fibre optic cabling ingressing into systems replacing, where applicable, copper cables. CTTS is pleased to have provided Karl with the skills sets to meet the demands of the 21st Century Communications Networks Operators.
