The IPAF Harness Inspector course is designed for delegates responsible for checking and maintaining fall protection harnesses used with Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). Prerequisites for this course are completion of IPAF Harness Awareness and IPAF Harness User courses.

This training provides in-depth knowledge of harness components, inspection procedures, defect identification, and safe storage practices. Delegates will learn how to carry out thorough inspections, understand legal responsibilities, and ensure harnesses remain safe for use.

Can the training be done online/remotely?

As most of our courses require physical practical assessments, it is unlikely that we will be able to offer them online. Additionally, the majority of our courses must be completed at an accredited center, making remote delivery not feasible. However, there are exceptions for our mobile courses, which can be completed either virtually or onsite, offering more flexibility for participants.
