The IPAF (Single) Static Boom (1B) Operator course is designed to equip delegates with the essential knowledge and practical skills needed to safely operate static boom Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs).
The course covers key areas including machine familiarisation, pre-use inspections, safe operating practices, hazard awareness, and emergency procedures. Suitable for both new and experienced operators, this training ensures delegates understand their legal responsibilities and can confidently operate 1B category MEWPs in line with IPAF guidelines and current health and safety legislation.

As most of our courses require physical practical assessments, it is unlikely that we will be able to offer them online. Additionally, the majority of our courses must be completed at an accredited center, making remote delivery not feasible. However, there are exceptions for our mobile courses, which can be completed either virtually or onsite, offering more flexibility for participants.
