This module is an essential requirement for any Engineer/Contractor carrying out provision on FTTP Strategic UG & UG cabling. It will check the delegates understanding and ability to safely use of equipment and methods associated with heavy cabling and Sub-duct Mono-bore 5 (SDMB5) installation and repair.
The delegate will set up a site for cabling activities and carry out heavy cabling and SDMB5 installation in the access network. Using Duct Motors, winches, cable drum trailer (CDT) and rodding machines.
All tasks will be completed using current working practices and quality standards.
