The module is an essential requirement for any Engineer/Contractor carrying blowing activities on the Openreach FTTP strategic OFN build.
It will check the delegates understanding and ability to complete safe blowing practices using various COF cables through Sub-Duct in the access network ( this does not include overblowing practices.)
The delegate will provide a COF into Sub-duct, which involves the initial set up, the use of the blowing machine(s) in line with the current safety and quality standards, and/or the relevant manufacture’s instructions.
Pre-requisites for this course are SA002 Underground Safety and K006 Heavy Cabling & SDMB5 in Duct
