The module is an essential requirement for any Engineer/Contractor carrying out Mechanised Cable Recovery activity in the Openreach network using a Winch
It will check the delegates understanding and ability to complete safe recovery of heavy cable form the Openreach network via the use of a Winch and hydraulic cutting tools
The delegate will safely recover heavy cable utilising a Winch to the specifications laid down in the Mechanised Cable Recovery, Trailer winch 2 and Medium Cabling Unit Handbook
Pre-requisites for this course are SA002 Underground Safety and Confined Spaces - Medium Risk
